Meet the Coaches
Alex Nitsiopolous
Alex is an Athletic Development and Strength & Conditioning Coach currently completing a double Bachelor degree in Exercise and Sport Science and Nutrition Science at Deakin University.
Through his role as an Athlete Development Coach at Pulse8, Alex has worked with athletes across all stages of the performance pathway, from developing junior footballers through to Coates Talent League, VFL/VFLW and AFLW athletes.
Working across both elite sporting environments and school-based programs, Alex has developed a strong understanding of long-term athletic development and evidence-based performance training. His coaching philosophy centres on building robust, resilient athletes through high-quality movement, strength development and athletic preparation.
With a concurrent background in Nutrition Science, Alex takes a holistic approach to athlete development, recognising that performance is built upon strong foundations of health, recovery and overall well-being.
