The Speed Project Pty Ltd respects the privacy of athletes, parents, clients and website visitors.

This Privacy Policy explains the kinds of personal information we may collect, how we use it, and how you can contact us about your information.

Depending on how you interact with The Speed Project, we may collect information such as:

  • athlete name, age or date of birth

Where an athlete is under 18, information will commonly be provided by their parent or guardian.

Athlete and health-related information

The Speed Project’s coaching services are not a substitute for medical assessment or treatment. Participants may be advised to seek appropriate medical or allied-health advice where required.

Payments

Payments may be processed through third-party payment and booking providers.

The Speed Project does not need to retain full payment-card details in its own systems where payments are handled by those providers.

We may retain information about the transaction, such as the product purchased, payment amount, date, order number and payment status.

Service providers

We use third-party platforms to operate our business, which may include website, booking, payment, customer relationship management, communication, coaching and data-storage providers.

We may disclose personal information to these providers only to the extent reasonably necessary for them to provide services to us.

Because some of these providers operate internationally, personal information may be processed or stored outside Australia.

Photos and video

Photography and video may be collected during coaching sessions for purposes including technique analysis, athlete feedback, education and program delivery.

Photography and video may also be used for The Speed Project’s website, social media or promotional material.

If you or your child do not wish to be included in promotional photography or video, please contact admin@thespeedproject.com.au.

Marketing communications

We may contact clients, former clients or people who have enquired with us about programs or services that may be relevant to them.

You can ask us to stop sending marketing communications at any time.

Operational messages relating to an existing booking or service may still be sent where necessary.

Protecting information

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

No online service or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Access and correction
