Meet the Coaches

Sarah Ruddell

Sarah discovered her love for athletics at age five with Warragul Little Athletics Club, where her family’s strong involvement helped shaped her early journey. She progressed through to under-16s, exploring all events before specialising in sprints and jumps.

After a break to focus on netball, Sarah returned to athletics at age 22 in Geelong and has since competed at state and national levels in the 60m, 100m, 200m, and 400m. Her passion for coaching grew while working at Geelong Grammar School, where she enjoyed helping athletes develop speed, confidence, and transferable skills for sports such as football and netball.

Sarah enjoys coaching Little Athletics and senior athletics sprinters and relay athletes, as well as netball and football players, helping them build speed, athletic foundations, and confidence that transfer across sports.
